My Marshall G100cd Distortion channel doesn't distort like it use to

The clean channel works find, but the distortion channel has alittle distortion but it is weak. It use to be great any ideas. I had bad pots but got them fixed.

Just a quick guess, but there is probably diode clipping and it's possible one of the diodes (could use LED's) may be bad or a bad solder connection.

Hey. Mates amp same problem. Boost works but distorts and clips the tops of... I blieve the.boost circuit only have a transistor and a led but no diods...am i wrong? Would love to sort this out for him.
