  • AC-30CC problems.

    Hello,
I have a AC-30 cc that wont power up. I did a retube with new JJ's, and the amp worked well for 2 days. I went to turn it on, and I noticed no pilot lamp lit. I checked the HT .5 fuse and discovered it was blown. I replaced the fuse, still no power. Next I replaced the GZ-34 with a new one. Still no luck. I took a look at the internal fuse on the PCB, and it looked OK. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to my next step?

    Thanks, Jon.

No power LED (red), or no 'operate' LED (green)?

If the power LED isn't lighting, but the mains fuse is OK, then you have problem in the +15V circuit. R188 is listed on the schematic as 2.2 ohms "fusible", which indicates to me that it's the 'safety net' for the +15V power supply.
