  • Bugera amp parts

I am fixing a bugera 6262 for a friends son, he has somehow broken the plastic input jack. I can get a spare jack from PMS electronics in Germany for a ~£2.00 but the shipping is another £10.00 on top of that! £12 pound for a 50 pence part!!

Anybody know another company in the UK that sells these jacks, you can see a picture here:
    PMS electronics GmbH - PLUG:JACKSTEREO LJ-0695B-5; M08G01

    thanks

Somehow Behringer has managed to use parts that are slightly different from anything else.
If this IS THE replacement part, I would just suck it up & purchase it.
No hassles (drilling out the panel hole, because it is smaller than standard).
    Desolder, resolder, reassemble & go.

no hassles.. ha ha you have to remove the whole front panel PCB, it has all the pots and switches mounted to it.. everyday work for an amp tech, but I am not an amp tech

I need to speak to him to see if he's happy to pay for that, the other option is just to use one of the many cliff jacks I have in stock and do a little rearranging.

That is just a cheap copy of the Switchcraft enclosed jack. Grab your regular electronic supplier's catalog, whoever it is you use where you are and look up the part with a matching number of pins/features.

It really is a fairly standard piece. Or rather a crappy imitation of a standard piece.
My rants, products, services and incoherent babblings on my blog.
