...on pins 6 + 8 of the 6CG7's on this Magnatone 260 schematic? Some sort of diode array? And the purpose? Thanks for your help!

I scrolled further down the schemo just now and it ID's it as varistor on the lower left. Thats kind of an outdated symbol for it...
