    page 9 of the schematic above shows the power supply, after the standby switch there's a 220R resistor followed by a chain of ten 365R resistors....most of the 365s in this amp i'm working on show signs of charring, and one is burned open.

    why, i wonder? bad power tube(s)? i checked the screen r's on the power tubes...all ok. Anything else i should check? i don't want to replace the 365s and have them burn up again.

    those are just some series R to drop down some voltage and to provide better power supply filtering.

    if anything connected to node b, c, or d draws excessive current they may overheat. during normal use they'll get pretty hot anyway...
