I have a vintage Rockman with no echo. Any ideas???? Chorus works great.

Look inside it, you should be able to spot the echo parts, I would expect an MN3000 series chip or two. See if clocking is going on and power is gettting to them, etc,.
And contact Dunlop and ask if they can provide the schematic for the unit.

Further to Enzo's, I would take a hard look at the crappy switch in there. As I recall it has weird failure modes.

Both of the aforementioned issues are pretty common. Those switches tended to get squirrely, and those Panasonic BBD chips MN300x have been the source of issues in many types of gear equipped with them.
