This is not a problem, just something kind of cool.
I live near Joplin, Missouri and a friend got a brand new Orange thunderverb from the owner of a music store that was leveled by our recent tornado.
It was full, and I mean FULL of crap, the transformer mounting flanges were bent, and one of the four 6550's was broken.
After striping it down to the chassis and cleaning with alcohol, soap and water, and contact cleaner where appropriate, the beast woke up and played!
It has a switch that disconnects two of the output tubes for 100 watts output, so that's how my friend is running it until he can afford 4 new tubes.
This amp reflects the spirit of it's owner, as well as all of us who survived that little wind.
EF5 tough..........Rob
