Hi! What was the outcome of redneckgeek's amp distortion. I have exactly the same problem with one I acquired recently. Changed the shorted output transistors. Checked all circuit paths. Also had a bad solder connection on L1 as was noted. All my supply voltages are dead on equal - and +. All emitter resistors and circuit board paths have been checked and repaired. Seemed to be working great until I connected me keyboard up and there is plenty of volume but I still have this distortion issue. Any ideas! Thanks Randy.

One other thing, this was repaired before, the (2) 2watt resistors R75 and R76 were replaced. When I connect an external speaker these resistors begin to cook.

I hate to admit it but I never did resolve the problem It was suggested that I had cross over distortion in the amp and none of the things usually relative to CD seemed to solve the problem. I still have the amp should you want me to look at anything that might help you.

This is one of those problems that is taking way too long to resolve. Think I'll just use it for parts.
