  • Mesa Quad preamp- missing chips

So I repaired this Mesa Boogie Quad preamp, had a couple bad stages, but it won't work without the footswitch -

There are about 5 chips missing inside, and the footswitch is a homemade POS. with just regular footswitches connected to 1/4" plugs to plug into the jacks in the back to activate the switching.

Remove these plugs, and there's no sound.
I'm guessing one or more of the missing chips completes a circuit so ch1 and 2 will operate together with no footswitch connected.

The Boogie schem. site has schems and some of the chips listed, but it's hard to read and the location of the chips is not shown.

Anyone have one they can pop the cover off or know where/what chips should be in it?

    Thanks.
