4 ohms to the main jack. Plug anything into the extension jack, and the contacts switch over to the 2 ohm winding. That way the internal 4 ohms and the external 4 ohms - which combine to make 2 ohms - will be served.

That's the UL version. You can see Fender used the same amp for the Super, Pro and Bandmasters (reverbs). The Super reverb used four 16ohm speakers, unlike earlier ones with 8 ohms.
