    leave it on for a little while, then touch the top of each IC. ANy getting hot? That might be loading the rail down.

    Is the output of the regulator - or zener if that is the deal - still at +15 but +4 at the UC, or is it +4 there too? Three leg Vregs are cheap, I usually just swap it to find out myself.

      Hey guys,
      Thanks so much for all the help! I found the resistors between the transformer and the rectifier were all smoked. replaced those and it works. The "Ultra" and "Lead" settings sound a little off but then I'm not familiar with how this amp normally sounds. The "Ultra" setting especially sounds somewhat like static. But the "Clean" channel sounds real nice.
