    Peavey Transducer 2x10

    Hi all!
    I have a Peavey Transducer 210 and it pops and cracks with the volume down and no axe plugged in and the effects are off. Anyone else have this amp and the same problem, if so is it fixed? How? Thanks

    I find TransCHorus 210, and a whole pile of TransTube models, but I cannot find Transducer. ANy other names on the thing?

    Tube? SOlid state? FX loop jacks?

      Geez! What a fool I am! It's a "Transchorus210. With the same symptons! LOL. Sorry to all for misnaming the lil beast!

        Until I can look it up then...

        With ALL control to zero, still do it?

        Ball up your fist and whack the top of it, does that trigger any noise? If it does, there is a loose connection inside.

        Inside the amp, with it running, poke each part with a wooden chopstick. Does miving anything cause or otherwise affect the noise?

        Got FX loop jacks? Or power amp in jacks? If so, plug a guitar into one and dial the guitar down to zero. Does that kill the noise?
