? about TSL pot

Hi, I have a TSL 60 head that has been giving me some troubles for some time. It started off with just a lot of static when just sitting there. I know for a fact the presence pot is bad. It is scratchy when turned and does not turn smoothly. When I would put some pressure on the knob with my finger, sometimes it would make the noise go away so I figured this was my problem. Now, I've been having even more problems. First the volume started dropping out completely while playing. I could power off/on and it would start working again. Later on, I started getting this really loud buzzing noise when I turned it off standby. I would quickly turn it off. After turning off/on a time or two it would stop but I would still be having static. I could then tap the presence knob and a loud pop would happen each time. What I want to do is replace this pot so that I can eliminate whatever problem it's causing and then see what problems I have left, if any. The problem is, I have no clue where to find a pot like this and have searched the internet over. I've found similar ones at Mouser but they had a different number of lugs on them. Here are some pics that show the pot mounted on the small board.

Does anyone know where I could get one of these or a compatible replacement? I believe these are Taiwan Alpha pots. If anyone can help me out I'd be forever grateful! Thanks.

And make sure the solder under the pot is OK. Tapping on the control causes a response, how about rapping on the back of the chassis? What you have described sounds like a failing power tube to me.

I was going to go ahead and replace the pot because I'm pretty sure it's shot. The resistance you feel when you turn it is not even all the way through it's range and it's been scratchy for quite a while. I was thinking power tube also on the other problems. It has EH 6CA7s in it and they really hadn't been in that long when the popping and volume loss started. I still have the stock tubes and there wasn't really anything wrong with them when I changed them. I'll probably try them out after I get the pot replaced. I wanted to eliminate what I know is one problem first.

These pots are troublesome. They will crack their resistive element if the knobs get bumped. The knobs are exposed making them very easy to bump. I won't spray cleaner intro them because the minute you do they loosen up and lose contact completely. I don't know if there is an alternative part available that would work better. Probably just have to stick the same junk back in.

Yep..this is probably what made this one get worse. I put some Deoxit in it when I first started having noise problems. Luckily, I haven't had any more trouble with any of the others.
