Crate G40xl switch problem

I have a Crate G40 xl that switches between channels by its self. I have tried using a foot switch still does it. Anyone have a clue as to where I need start in fixing it. As far as im concerned if it was wired just to stay on the clean channel it would be fine as I will be using it for my talk box amp

MAke sure the footswitch jack is good. The most common reason for unwanted channel switching is poor contact in the footswitch jack cutout contacts. If it does it even WITH a footswitch, and we know the footswitch to be 100%, then check the solder to the jack. And of course check any panel switches that could be involved.
