Well, there's something called the California BEAR.
If you are sure that your speaker, impedance setting, and cable were good, but the amp burned up,
You can file a complaint to BEAR.
Chances are, you will get your money back. And if I were in the same situation, I would file the complaint.
If these guys charged you labor and parts, and screwed it up, (which it seems they did)...
then you are NOT out of options.
If it were my fault, and I made the mistake, you would have a new quad of tubes, right now. NO argument.
There is a difference between ethical repair shops and ones that are not. The ethical shop will admit a mistake and make it right.
The unethical shop....well, I think you know that answer.
