I'm working on a friends Behringer ACX 1000. It turns on, everything lights up, and the Mic channel seems to work fine. The instrument channel is where the trouble seems to be. It has low volume when turned to the max. This amp also has a temperature readout which jumps when the amp is turned on or off and remains at the cold level when the amp is in operation. The fan for the the heat sink runs at a low speed and the heat sink feels only slightly warm to the touch.
I know just enough to get myself in to trouble with these sort of things so any advice is appreciated.
