Peavey Classic 50 HELP!

I would take all the tubes out or at least the power tubes. On the power tube sockets before you power it up ohm out pin 9 of one side to pin 9 of the other side to get 200 ohms of screen resistance. The after you power it up saying the 1 amp fuse doesn't blow again you should get as follows.

Pin 7 = @ 300 + volts
Pin 2 = negative -15 volts
Pin 3 = Zero
Pin 9 = @ 295 + volts

The heaters I believe are in series so they either all work or none. So if you put all the tubes in and they light the heaters are ok.

OK, I get 207 from v5 to v6 pin 9, 103 from all other combinations except for v6 to v7 where I'm getting 0.
Powered up I get pin 7=1295, pin 9=1295, pin 2=12.5 and pin 3=0 on all tubes. Fuse did not blow.

Wait, I had it on AC. I get 570v @ both pin 7 & 9 on all el84's

IT WORKS! I changed out the mod cap c18 for a 680pf and it all works beautifully now. I don't get it but I'm not complaining. Thanks Guys.

The plate & screen voltages are present.
Measure pin #5. Bias voltage.
If that is good:
Attach a dummy load on the output.
Insert a test signal.
Monitor the output on a scope.
