    Does the amplifier work?
You seem to be 'tilting at windmills'.

Yes the amp works although there's more hum than I'd like to hear but it's alive.. Is Tilting at Windmills and electronics term or something the dutch might say cause it's one i'm not familiar with....but I'll be the first to admit humbly, I've been a very decent small engine mechanic by trade for most of my life and for the past 15 yrs an arborist so I work with mechanical equipment all day every day..I'm proficient with regualr household wiring but i guess I'd call myself a windmill watcher when it comes to electronics , but hey I'm keen and willing to learn and appreciate the help although I might not understand all the terminolgy....

I tested the B+ voltage and it was 441VDC and also got 237VDC from pin 6 to grd...although our line voltage in this house is Usually around 130VAc does that have Any bearing on why the other voltages are possibly higher ?? Is there any benefit to installing something to reduce line voltage to the amp??

It's from Don Quixote, and it means fighting imaginary enemies.
