  • Brunetti 059 Problem with Solo-Channel

    Hi to all,

I have here an Brunetti 059 (the version with the red face und only EL34 output stage).
After warming up the solo channel intermittently starts to sound really crappy. Sounds
a bit like an amp when pulling the power-plug. It is a bad distorted harsh sound with a lack of bass.
After some 10 seconds the sound clears up and sounds good, as it should.
Turning up the master for the solo channel helps in most cases to clear up.
The problem can be reproduced (most of the times) by switching between
any other channel and solo channel.

Unforunately I have no schematic. I searched the net but found non.

So I would like to ask you, if someone can support me with a schematic for this amp,
or has any idea, where I might start to search for the problem.

    Any help is appreciated
    thx an advance

I'd try swapping tubes. These are $3k amps so contacting the Mfg may be the best option.

thx for your answer. I'll try swappping the tubes. I tried to contact Brunetti two times per mail.
They didn't answer. Maybe a phonecall helps, but I don't speak any italian.

      I'll keep you informed.

        Yep,

a bit of tube in and out, a bit of cleaning and reconnecting the cables
did the job. I have tested the amp now several days and it works fine.

        thx for help
