Hello everyone,
I've been experiencing some problems with my old Marshall 50DFX. Currently, I have little to no sound coming from my cabinet. In order to produce sound I have to consistently bang on it. Doing so distorts the sound and allots me no more than a minute of sound, sometimes only seconds. This allotted sound is distorted and way below normal volume. Then the sound dissipates.
The toubleshooting I have done is listed below:
I am suspecting bad solder joints on input plugins or a bad Transistor (2120y9e (TRL 2n7000 FET)
Has anybody remedied this issue? I was wondering what my next steps should be. I have schematics and access to a multi-meter for further troubleshooting.
Thank you for your help.
