  • Fender Vibro Champ XD no sound

This amp has no sound....speaker/speaker cable are ok, and there's no sound from line out jack. I can trace signal from input jack up to multi-pin connector P1, which connects to the DSP PCB loaded w/surface mount components. No signal on any components in the signal path after the P1 connector. Looks like something on the DSP PCB is bad....does Fender sell replacement PCBs? I'm not an authorized service center. Thanks for your help...

First you should check all the fuses with the power cord disconnected. Then power the amp up and check all the power supply voltages.

WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.

As for parts availability, it will depend on if that amp is on the do not service list from Fender. If it is, there will not be any parts available from Fender.

You may be able to get a working board from another dead amp.
