Thanks, that's great. The amp I've got blows the main fuse. The customer screwed with the plastic connector going from PT to PCB, cut the connector (female) in half and soldered the other half (wires) to the PCB whereby he burned/melted half of the plastic (male) connector that is soldered into PCB. It's messy. I would like the schematics for that section as the guy might have connected the wires wrongly.

I will disconnect the PT first to see if it blows the fuse by itself which would mean PT is fried.

Any schematics showing the PT connection would be appreciated. Thanks !

i guess the 2:50 is just a stripped down version of this as far as tubes, did you ever check one out?

I have worked on the Mesa model called "50-50." I think that's a different older model but probably basically the same thing. The many models with slight differences seems to be part of their marketing strategy. I see that the cover sheet for the one we are discussing is officially called the "Recto 2:100 Power Amp"

Mesa 50:50 is a different amp from Mesa 2:100 - not just 2 tubes less and that's easy to see from the schematic.

50:50 is not the same product as the 2:50,that's why I asked....
