Has anybody done business with these people?

I was wondering about one of their JBL D130 kits. It seemed I might be able to change my D140F into a D130F with their kit.

At first, I thought this is a good thing… until I read (they said) that a D130F is for bass!!

Also, I "know" the D140F has a copper-wound voice coil (I've never thought about speakers until today and I've been drowning in information from vintage Harvey Gerst threads for hours, so I may be wrong about the voice coil thing).

Could anyone please share their opinion on this company before I give them a call?

Oh, found this nugget from the designer of these speakers himself:
Okay, the real truth is that back then, JBL 16 ohm speakers were really 8 ohms, and the 32 ohm speakers were really 16 ohms. Why did we do that? Because that made them louder.
