  • Old Roland JC120 input jacks deteriorating...

    Can these input jacks be replaced w/typical fender-style hi-lo configured jacks? the stock jacks have some funny connections on switches. thanks for your help!

      That drawing can't be right, can it? If you use the upper jack the signal line is still grounded by the lower jack.

      Some of these jacks are available from Switchcraft, but does your Roland amp have isolated input jacks? Switchcraft doesn't make a lot of insulated jacks with additional switches.

      Perhaps the best solution would be to order Fender, stereo, 9 pin input jacks, as they have insulated mounts and a number of switch circuits, both NO and NC.

      Edit: I should have opened the drawing in a separate window, as the lower jack switch is NO, not NC.

        good call....i can use a fender 4-pin for the high input jack and a 9-pin for the low input jack
