  • Peavey Firebass 700 problems

Hi I'm Bob, doing some Amp repairs. Does anybody have access to the Firebass 700 schematic(s), and could you send them to me? I was able to get the owners manual off the Peavey website, but they are proprietary with the actual schematic. Apparently my friends spouse hooked up an input to the tuner output, and I found fried components around the tuner output jack (front panel). It blows both (+/- 16VDC) 1 amp slow blow fuses and trips the breaker about 5 seconds after it is turned on. I saw previous threads on the fuse blowing problem, and already pulled out the 3 socketed IC's on the power supply circuit board, and repowered up, fuses blew again.

    thanks,

    Bob

Just contact Peavey, they will send the schematics to you free of charge! Calling them may be best, their customer service department is deluged with emails.

p.s. yu may wish to edit your post and take out your email address, too many spam bots out there and your address will get put on the spam lists.

      Hi Bill,

Thanks I'll remove my email address, and give Peavey a call. Appreciate the help.
