Hey,
This could be simple, or this could be a lost cause. I'm knee deep in my summer projects and I'm pretty much a newb with amps (other than the basics, including safety), so my "understanding" of things beyond basics is limited.
I have a Supro Bantam that has the following modifications done:
1. 1:1 isolation transformer installed, per this layout (credit to gmoon from instructables) http://cdn.instructables.com/F5D/9XJ...6GN2.LARGE.jpg
http://cdn.instructables.com/FAD/56T...ICYP.LARGE.jpg
2. 3 prong plug (can the ground just be soldered anywhere on the chassis?)
2. New JJ cap can and 3.3k ohm resistor
So, with that stuff, things appear to be alright, but there is some really nasty noise. Here is a youtube showing that noise: Supro bantam noisy!! - YouTube
Any ideas?
Thanks!
