Ideas for intermittent on Gallien Krueger 1001RB

I have also seen intermittent operation of the volume pots, these are fairly specialized mechanically but I was able to order some replacements online.
Opened up the failed pot, it was cheaply made and the resistive track was just wore out from use.
Could possibly cause transients on the output (a bit of a stretch I know) depending on which pot was bad.
