Marshall repair - how to replace speaker??

I have an older Marshall guitar amp (it says valvestate V40, model 8040 on the front) with a cracked speaker. The speaker says G12L Celestion on it. I've searched around and can't find this type anywhere new (I'd rather get a new part) Any searches through google or ebay take me to a Celestion G12T-75. My questions are: Is this the type of speaker I need to buy? What do the differences in "ohms" mean between the two different G12T-75 speakers available? How would I install it? Thanks!

i would put an Eminence in it. look for the Governer model. Just match it with the "ohms' of whats in there now.

I personally think Celestions are over-rated and over priced.
