  • Will Tung Sol 7581's work in my '83 Fender Concert II.

I am buying a set of Tung Sol 7581's and I was wondering if there is any issue with plate voltage maximums in my '83 Fender Concert II 1x12 that may cause these tubes not to work?...something about plate voltage maximums?(what ever that is).
I am just spouting off some stuff I read on the web, I really do not understand all the electronic techie stuff. I was just concerned that these may not work with my Concert. No biggie as I can find the Tung Sols a home in another 6L6 amp.
Forgive me if I have not provided enough information to assist you in answering my question. My knowlege is limited on this type of stuff.
    Thanks for your help folks

You should be fine. Treat them like std 6L6GC and bias accordingly. I don't have any direct experience with this fairly new version, but the old stock Philips 7581a was a nice robust tube that sounded great and would take a beating.
