Evidently this issue has been resolved, but I was wondering what you guys thought about the grid voltages from his preamp tube
measurements. Do those seem normal? Some amps set up with preamp voltages like that?

    Example:
    V2 Pin 1 160
    Pin 2 0
    Pin 3 .92
    Pin 4 2.92
    Pin 5 2.92
    Pin 6 275
    Pin 7 160
    Pin 8 160

    Pin 9 2.87

Look at his schematic. (It is in post #10) V2 is a dual triode, wired as a direct coupled cathode follower. SO it would be very difficult for pin 7 to measure anything different from pin 1, since they are wired together. As a follower, we then expect pin 8 to be very close to pin 7.

So yes, this is perfectly normal.

Ah, I didn't even look at the schematic. Doh!
