Somebody dropped off a powered mixer for me to doodle with....Simple problem...the master gain pot shaft is very loose...still works...it's just excessively loose. It is a dual gang pc mount 50KB...I can't find out who the manufacturer is or a distributor so I can order one.....the shaft will have to be a certain length in order for the knob to go back on....anybody have any info on the distributor or manufacturer....there is nothing on the rear of the chassis that would indicate who that is...it is one of these square pots with a blue body if that means anything.....
    Cheers,
    Bernie

The part will have been made for the amp maker, and most likely not an off the shelf item. But leaf through your Mouser catalog and see if anything looks the same.

Ok Enzo....Actually I have a Digi-key catalog at hand...I will get my hands on one from Mouser now that you mentioned them...
      Thanks,

Is it one of those vertical PC mount 'micro' sized pots? I got them at Digi-Key.

Yes T9c...it is....it has 6 pins, (it is a dual pot), and of course two tabs that help hold it to the board...the shaft looks to be roughly half inch long ....maybe a little more...I will have to measure the dimensions and check in the catalog...the shaft is "D" shaped....I have a paper copy of the Digi-Key catalog here.....might be a bit out of date but it still should be ok....most part numbers don't change..they only add new ones...

Just checked online and didn't see any dual gang in that style, but check for yourself to make sure. It's a 9mm pcb vertical mount D shaft single turn. You might want to Google or eBay it.

Found a replacement at Digi-Key... The dimension are not exactly the same but they are very close...and there is lots of clearance there as well..so It should work ok....I ordered it so I'll find out when it arrives....
