i was trying to find a cheaper route....but i just found one for $89 at triode usa. not bad compared to the other sites

You can buy those transformers from two places.
Triodestore, and Amp Parts Direct.
They are the same price, but unless they have changed and fixed it the "Amps Parts Direct", had cheaper shipping.
So be sure and check and see which one is cheaper.
