  • Fender Super Champ XD no sound

I've had the Super Champ for a about 3 years now and it was a handful of months ago when the sound went out. It still turns on and the tubes still light up but just no sound I just recently changed the fuse but that doesn't seem to work. Before I take it to a repair man, does anyone on here know a solution?

The amp has a 'line output'. Run a cable from there to another amp and see if you get any sound. The line out bypasses the tube circuitry so this will help isolate where the problem is originating from.

It could be any number of things.
If you really want a definitive answer, you will have to take it to the Tech.

Have you found out anything yet? I have heard of a few resistors, that are underpowered and overheat. I joined this sight to find the schematic in order to fix one.

check for sig a7 pin 7 /u7 . guit in use fine wire from patch cord to anther amp set on about 2. donot touch pin 8 ...thats 12v you'll be surprised LOL ...if this opamp is good then it could be your processor brd. also if you pull and replace u7.use a socket. these amps do not like a lot of pedal in front like other amps..goes thru 2 gain stages then to processor . too much input ant the board crashes/distorts.
R79,47+86 chk these. make sure you have pwr on pin4+8 on your 8 pin ICs.
