Evans Lapsteel amp Fault

Customer has brought me a Evans FET500 Custom LV

This is the first lap steel amp ive ever seen. and too me fair i would of thought they used any old amp. But been given a lesson and they dont

The customer said that it dont sound right when he hits the high end " treble " I cant hear anything wrong. But my ears are shot.
All looks ok.

Anybody help ?

Have you actually had a look at the waveform? Scope the output and see what happens to the signal at higher frequencies.
