  • SWR 400 Working Pro

    I have 400 swr working pro . The coolinfg fan has stoped working . The schematic Im looking at doesn't give the voltage value as well as to if there is asensor to control fan ? HELP have a shoew in 5 days. Thanks

    I'm trying hard to the point of bleeding eyes yet I can't see it.
    Maybe I'll need new glasses

        yes, please at least identify the schematic you have.

        Have you tested the fan itself? Unplug it from the system ( or unsolder the wires) and feed it voltage from batteries or a bench supply. Should be a label on the fan telling you the voltage it wants. If you just feed it 12v, it ought to spin.

        The schematic I have says FAN CONTROL CIRCUIT, and by the connector for the fan it says 6-16vDC. That varies with temperature.

        On one side there ought to be three squat filter caps at one end, and a couple small power resistors up on legs. Ther should be two tiny white wires soldered nearby to a spot marked TC1. The wires run over to a part on the heat sink. That is the temperature sensor.
