  • Line 6 Spider Valve HD100 (Bogner) TROUBLE- No output

To start, I can't find a schematic for the Line 6 Spider Valve HD100 head...

The amp powers up just fine and produces sound when plugged into the XLR Direct Out through a PA. BUT there is no sound when I plug the amp through any of the 1/4 in. outputs to my speaker cabinet. So far I have tested the speaker cabinet with a different amp head to rule out an issue with that. I have also tried swapping out the 2 12AX7 tubes with no luck. It may be worth mentioning that one of the four 6l6's was replaced with an EH while the rest are Sovteks. However, because I get sound through the PA, I'm not sure that THAT is the issue.

Any suggestions on where to go from here?

You are on your own on this one.
Line 6 does not let schematics out.
How about trying the Preamp Out into your PA or another amp.
And try Power Amp In from some signal source.

You may have blown an HT fuse. Check to see if your tubes are getting B+. If there is a blown fuse, it's likely you have a bad tube. Check them if you have access to a tube tester, or remove them all and insert them one at a time to see which one is blowing the fuse- if indeed you have a blown fuse.
