I bought a couple of those amps real cheap 7 years ago and the first thing I did was replace every single electrolytic capacitor. they are cheap chinese junk caps. rest of the components are good quality. the amps have been going strong ever since. there was a dramatic improvement in sound due to the electrolytics in the preamp section being upgraded

Hey Dude,
Thanks for the info and suggestions and your quick response. Doing a little more digging, I found the service manual with schematics and PCB layout and component lists. The preamp and Power Amp is Revision B which is what I have. The PS is is Rev E but the lay out looks the same and the cap values match what you sent. I found it on another forum. Thanks guys, you've been very helpful. B200 and B200H zip file attached.
Got the same issue, the schematic helps a lot obviously, so thanks. It's the c34 cap (one of the ones from your photo), I watched it swell and pop the first time I turned the amp on (got it knowing it had issues). The weird thing is that it's part of the 5V fan circuit (doesn't appear to be anything else on this circuit) and even weirder, nothing seems wrong. I did basic tests on the rectifier, regulator, and diodes and no obvious shorts. Caps don't ever do this on their own do they?
In the photos earlier in the thread multiple caps were swollen including c34, but they are part of different circuits it seems, which is odd to me.
I'm thinking about trying to block the 5V circuit at the transformer and powering it up, but I thought I'd chime in here first and see if anyone has any insight on this issue since the years have past. Thanks.
