How to spec replacement OT?

    If it's the generic "Marshall style" "50W output transformer" by "Magnetic Components" then I'd say go. I've never used Magnetic Components but they have a good rep. It looks beefy enough. I've read that the OT in the JTM60 is under spec'd and prone to failure. That OT, while seemingly generic, is probably an upgrade.

      I would recommend a fan for the 60. The filter caps get baked dry and fail because they are located right above the output tubes. Blow the heat back down at the output tubes so it stays off the caps. Horrible design....
