  • Grainger Valve Edition 5 Issues

Hi guys new to the forum so firstly hello there

Having a few issues with Grainger Valve Edition 5 (Basically rebadged Epiphone Valve Jnr V2.

I got this from a friend for free as it's not working, everything seems to power on however there is no sound.
I have taken the back panel off and there are x3 wires which are supposed to hold fuses. None of these are connected and one fuse appears to be missing.

All the casings seem broken that hold the fuses in line (Poor Quality plastic sleeve and clip type job)
Just wanted to make sure that all of these should have a fuse in before I go buy some and continue the troubleshooting.

I have tried to scour the net looking for pictures and things but can't really seem to see anything.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide, it's a great sounding little amp (Or it was anyway, lol)

Maybe you could ask theprevious owner what is up with the wiring?
The 'fuse holders' are for the power supply transformer primary wiring.
These where used for different power supply input voltage configurations.
No clue what the fuse values are.
Can't be more than an amp.

Hi mate thanks for the reply. I asked his this morning but he isn't too sure himself.
He's not the sort of person that would look inside.

I'll get some fuses ordered for it and see what happens.

Just thought it was a little strange that there are 3 fuse holders but only 2 fuses in side.

I'll stick on in each and see what happens.lol
