Need a new scope. USB scope used with a laptop ??

Hi All

My old scope is playing up and need to be replaced. Been looking on ebay to buy a used one. Looking at the USB type. Got 2 x laptops which are not being used
Does any of you guys that repair guitar amps have any expedience using them

My problem with those has always been the fact that they will only take very small input voltages. If you look on the specs it says the input protection is set up for +-5 volts.
If you're working on digital gear, or battery powered pedals, it's probably fine, but I would never be able to bring myself to hook up tube plates to it.

It was ten mins after posting. I brought a Kenwood Dual trace 20mhz scope which had be calibrated from ebay
This one didnt cost me too much.
