Just a big thanks to everyone. The problem is solved. It was indeed R118 that was open. Luckily no other shorts or anything. Replaced it with a new one and all is good with this little amp. My buddy is going be stoked!

Not sure what caused it to fail in the first place but the new one is holding fine.

    Thanks Again!

This type of problem is not all that uncommon with amps that run 6BQ5's fairly hot. It is usually caused by a shorted screen in one of the output tubes. The tube fault can be intermittent, so if it happens again with this amp, suspect the output tubes.

Or it could be that it was just the resistor's time to die. A shorted screen would most likely blow the individual 1/2w screen resistor before the (3w?) main resistor that feeds all the of screens off the PSU.
