Fishman Loudbox Performer Heat issues.

I have a Fishman Loudbox performer that's making weird squealing and crackling noises. I noticed the heatsink in the rear was getting really hot. What could be causing this?

Does it still pass a signal? An ultrasonic oscillation could explain the hot heatsink and weird noises.

Yes, it does pass a signal. Right now I'm trying to contact the manufacturer for support.
