  • Traynor YGM 3-prong conversion

    Hello

Just wanted to double check my 3 prong wiring with you folks before I went ahead with I. I am replacing the old 2 prong cord in my traynor YGM-3.

I believe it is correct so please let me know if there is a mistake. The main thing is switching the white/black AC wires coning in to the aux receptacle and then continuing the hot (black) to the fuse center lug right?

Also want to make sure the ground switch is deactivated and just used as a soldering hub. Thanks.

This site wont let me upload anything so here is a link to my diagram in my dropbox folder. Please check it over.

I would prefer not to use the ground switch as a soldering hub.

+1 - I'd just connect the fuse and PT directly to the power switch.

And yes, black is the best one to interrupt with both fuse and switch.
