Agree and add: in *this* particular amp, which is transformer driven, you can not adjust bias, just leave as is, slightly underbiased, as factory set.Juan Manuel FaheyComment

I've never found any instructions on how to set the bias pot in these amps. For those unfamiliar, the pot adjusts the operating point of the driver stage on the primary side of the driver transformer. It probably affects clipping symmetry so use a sine wave just past clipping into a dummy load and adjust the pot for equal clipping on top and bottom of the wave.WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.

That is how I always looked at it, the bias control just centers the output rest level at zero volts DC.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.Comment

To avoid confusions:
It has a CLASS A DRIVER BIAS CONTROL, TO GET SYMMETRICAL CLIPPING.
IT DOES NOT REPEAT NOT HAVE AN OUTPUT TRANSISTOR BIAS CONTROL.
