If anyone can help,??Sometimes when i switch amp on,it works..then the next time it lights up but no sound ?
completetly lost on this one???

There are a few things that you can try without even opening the amp.

If you have another amplifier, run a cord from the PreAmp Out jack on the KB300 rear panel, to that other amps input.

If that is o/k, then the KB300 preamp is working.

You can also insert a source signal (guitar, CD) into the PowerAmp In jack.

If that works then the power amp is good.

Alternatively you could simply try jumpering the KB300 PreAmp Out & the PowerAmp In jacks with a patch cord.

If that fixes it, either leave the patch cord in or try cleaning the PowerAmp In jack.
