hi all , i'm a new member here . it looks like a great forum to discuss guitar electronics mods and etc.
i've been searching for information about M Taper or Special Taper pot they are also called. not much i could find. what i need to know is if audio taper pots would be direct substitute for a special taper pot . i want to use fender
s1 switch in place of fender CTS 250 k special taper pot which controls gain boost in Eric Clapton mid boost system. as name suggests special taper pot acts as gain pot for the circuit . so would if 250 k fender s1 switch work in place of 250 k special taper pot ?
