  • Vox AC100CPH Reverb Problem

Hey all. I was wondering if someone could help me with a reverb issue on a Vox AC100CPH. The reverb actually works as well as the footswitching for the reverb BUT the LED does not light when pressing the footswitch button. Channel switching works as well as the LED. I get the 5vdc on the tip of the footswitch jack for the channel switching when I hit the button but I do not get the 5vdc on the ring of the footswitch jack when I hit that button. I've attached the schematic. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    The LED on the footswitch?
Check to see if it's pc board connections are okay, see if there is voltage across the LED, it may be dead and need replacing.

The footswitch jack is located on page 3, coordinate H/5.

      There is a +15Vdc supply that runs through R278 (1.5K, 1/4 watt).
It then goes through L209 to the jack.
Check both components & there solder paths for an open condition.
There is also a cap to ground. If that is shorted, then you will not get any voltage to the jack.
