  • Peavey Classic 50 (tweed) Problems

I had a 1994 Peavey Classic 50 4x10,Until me and friend burned a bunch of traces on the board.(soldering iron had to big of a tip.) We were trying to do the Blue Guitar PDF mods.Anyways,I had to order a new board from Peavey.Made sure everything was hooked back up correctly.Input and Output Transformer work fine. Now,the problem I'm having is there's barely any volume on both channels.Tried different tubes etc. same outcome. My friend put his scope on it,and we're not getting any wave, between 2 of the preamp tubes.Anybody have any ideas on what I can try?

    Which board did you replace?

The main board connects to the tube boards by ribbon cables. Look at them closely to make sure you have not connected one of them off a pin one way or the other.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
