Looks like that cap should go to the 3rd leg of the Intensity control.
That is where one end already is.
I need to figure out where the flying lead side of that cap goes.
Right now, amp works, reverb works. Nothing happens when I hit the trem switch.
I know it works because when the ground in the footswitch was broken off, i couldn't get the trem to stop

Looking at the schematic i posted, the .22 goes to that resistor then to lug 3.
I'm guessing the other end goes on the board somewhere around those .047's

    EDIT..yup that's it.
    I think I found it!

So the trem & footswitch works but the speed control does not?

Solder that free ballin' .22 cap to a turret where the .047's are and the trem works beautifully!
The reverb is a bit noisy, even with the reverb knob at 0, but that might be the tube or the tank. I don't really feel like troubleshooting it

Tks for the help guys...all your replies put me on the right path!
Expect a post about the reverb in the near future

Now I'm really confused as I thought the trem was working with the cap disconnected. What exactly did connecting it change?

            Sorry for the confusion

When I first turned the amp on, with that cap disconnected the amp was in constant extreme tremolo.
I noticed that when i moved the footswitch, the trem would vary. When I opened up the FS, i saw that a ground had broken off.
After soldering the ground back, the trem didn't work at all.
When I soldered that .22 cap to the board, it came back to life.

I just finished one of these, is yours working correctly now?

He's like a new set of strings... he just needs to be stretched a bit.

                Yup!
haven't had a problem since I fixed it.
The reverb is a bit noisy and sounds a bit off to my ears, but that could be the tank. The tank came unscrewed and was banging around during shipping.
I'd need to compare it to another Falcon or try a new tank.

The one I just fixed sounded a little "off" too, nothing like a Fender but the tank was different from a Fender as well so it was probably normal. It wasn't noisy though, yours might have been tweaked from rattling around.
