The stock can is a 50/40/20/20. The closest I can find is the CE 40/40/20/20.
Would this be OK or do I need the extra filtering?

If that is all that you can find, well....

    Try it.

You can always tack on a 10uf later it it really needs it.

It will never miss that 10uf, and like Jazz said, you can always add it in later.

Can caps of that era came with a tolerance like -20%/+80%, and I have seen even wider tolerances. What this means is the value is really not critical at all. Remember, this is only a guitar amp, not a science lab. So the existing value in each cap could be all over the map, regardless of what was stamped on the part.

Not only that, the can caps were made to save space and money, but caps are a lot cheaper now. If it were mine, I would probably leave the old can there for looks, and just mount four individual caps under the chassis.
